Had a good time at our friend's first birthday party!  Seems like yesterday I was hosting their first birthday party.  :(

I'm very excited!  A friend wants me to come and take some pictures of her three gorgeous girls next week.  It brings me so much joy! Can't wait! :)

Eric & Evan

This is my sweet and funny Evan!  Definitely a momma's boy, which I love.  He is sometimes 9 going on 90. He talks, at times, with such an old soul.  He can be a crazy boy, but inside he has a very sensitive and caring spirit! He says things that make us laugh and laugh.  We lovingly call them "Evanisms." <3

The Elusive 13 Year Old....

Here's a guy you won't see much of here! Trying to get a 13 year old to let me take pictures of him is like finding a needle in a haystack. That's why I have to take full advantage of occassions like his birthday to get a few good ones! Getting his picture taken is almost as painful for him as getting his haircut!

These are my two little friends.  They were hanging out at their brothers' baseball game, so we had a little impromptu photo shoot.  They were very enthusiastic and had lots of ideas for pictures that they eagerly shared with me! Definite cutie-pa-tooties! :)

Team finished in 1st place this year!!!

This is my "youngest" son by seconds! Eric is a laid back, go with the flow kind of boy. (Usually!) He is happy playing pretty much any sport, although I think baseball is his favorite.  He can be quite a charming guy, and definitely enjoys turning the charm on for the girls! A part of me is dreading his teen years! Watch out girls! I pray he keeps his kind and gentle spirit as he grows up.

What Have I Done?

Yikes, what have I gotten myself into? I am new at this, so bear with me friends.....
I decided to start a blog as a place to display some of my favorite photographs.  Taking pictures is my favorite pasttime! For me, there is nothing like getting that perfect shot, a frozen moment in time to be cherished forever, even after our memory starts to fade.
My favorite subjects are children!  My three boys sometimes get so annoyed when I am, yet again, getting the camera out.  So I resort to borrowing my friends' adorable kids. If I have a willing subject, life is good!
I hope you can find some joy in seeing the the photos I post.  Maybe you'll even hear yourself saying "Ooh, I love that one!".....
